Recreational zone of a private yard

Although spacious and sunny most of the time, this yard didn‘t make the owners completely happy. It was filled with mature junipers, quite stunted rosary and a small water pond in a plastic bowl.

Owners primary idea to change something, eventually grew into determination to create something special. They decided to use this space for passive recreation where you can be with yourself, enjoy the sun and all year long beautiful flower garden.

Driven by aim to create a special space, we made alternative design decisions for this project. We have chosen to form Rudbeckia fulgida "Goldsturm" and Aster ptarmicoides meadow with Calamagrostis x acutiflora sprinkles.

Around it – pines, maples and miscanthus. In the middle of the meadow we plan to build a bench/bunk which would look as an island in the sea of blossoms. This yard eventually would become a peaceful  and intimate oasis.
